          Upon graduation and obtaining a degree in Nursing from a NLN or CCNE accredited program and Tennessee state-approved program, applies the nursing process to plan and manage the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care. team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Furthers professional growth by engaging in 6- 10 hours of learning activities annually.

          Key Functions and Expected Performances:
          * PLANNING & MANAGING CARE
          * Practice adheres to specialty and organizational standards.

          * Applies age specific/cultural considerations to care of patient.

          Qualifications:
          Job requires Graduate of an accredited discipline specific program and a minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN.

          Pediatric experience or neuroscience experience preferred.
